La actriz estadounidense Yvonne Craig, conocida por interpretar a Batgirl en la serie televisiva 'Batman' en la década de los años 60, falleció este lunes a los 78 años, Craig murió en su casa de Pacific Palisades (California), encontrándose en compañía de su familia, a causa de un largo cáncer de mama que causó metástasis en el hígado.

Además de Batgirl, Craig también interpretó a Martha, la chica esclava de Orión que quiso matar al capitán Kirk en la tercera temporada de 'Star Trek'. Lejos de la pequeña pantalla, en su carrera cinematográfica destacan sus papeles en dos películas junto a Elvis Presley, 'Puños y lágrimas' y 'Kissin' Cousins'.
