buff realmente la serie de Bruce Timm y Paul Diny fué la primera y única gran serie de animación adulta que se ha hecho en Estados Unidos. Y la primera aproximación con animación decente de un superheroe a la animación desde que los hermanos Fleisher adaptaran a Superman en los 40.
Eso sí, el proyecto, los diseños y los guiones era norteamericanos, pero todos los animadores, japoneses.
