Por cierto, decir que el guión de esta precuela no ha gustado nada a Universal Pictures y Strike Entertainment y será reescrito desde 0...

Tras una reciente entrevista a Eric Heisserer por parte de Bloody disgusting, este ha comentado que el remake/precuela de La cosa comenzará a rodarse en Enero del año que viene. Además, a comentado también que se ha prestando mucha atención a todas las escenas mostradas en la película original sobre el puesto de mando destrozado de los suecos ( por que... ¿eran suecos no? ) para mostrar el origen de dicha matanza y los acontecimeitnos que lleváron a los suecos a acabar como acabaron. Dandole así coherencia a los acontecimientos del film...

Además, las cosas como son, el target de este tipo de producciones ha cambiado, lo cual no solo obliga a meter tias y moñeces, sino que ofrece menos calidad y más hype.
