Prácticamente es el reboot de una de las cintas más famosas de Jean-Claude Van Damme y todo un clásico ochentero que dio pie a una saga caída en el olvido. Kickboxer: Vengeance tiene la misma historia: dos hermanos, un luchador y su joven ayudante participan en un torneo de Muay Thay donde también lucha su máximo campeón, que es una mala bestia ahora con los rasgos del cada vez más notorio Dave Baptista (Guardianes de la Galaxia vol 1&2 y posible villano del remake de Los Inmortales) Este mata al hermano mayor en combate ante la impotencia del otro, quien más tarde con el entrenamiento del maestro Van Damme, se convertirá en el próximo rival del asesino de su hermano.

A los mencionados se añade Ala Moussi otro luchador que ha tenido pequeños papeles en películas como Asalto al Poder y Pompeya, será el reemplazo de Van Damme. Darren Shahlavi quien se lio a tortas con Donnie Yen en Ip Man 2 y fue Kano en la serie de Mortal Kombat, en esta peli que seria su último papel ya que murió y también leo en IMDB que participa Gina Carano aunque no menciona que personaje hará. Dirige el también actor John Stockwell (Inmersion letal, Marea Letal... putos traductores y Turistas)





No sé si añadirán el impresionante baile de Van Damme
